graphics very choppy / laggy -- video lag?

Thanks, I do have a 27 inch HD TV I plan to use as the monitor.

I will be researching all day, and buying something tonight.

That IbuyPower labor day sale stuff looks good, although it is a bit intimidating to go through that huge list of options.... The Free GTX760 2GB video card upgrade is tempting.... That is more than enough for this game right? Theres a million other options on there i need to research too.

I think square broke something with the graphics with todays patch, I was running 60+ fps till today when I logged in i was barley hitting 20.

Follow PsychicKoala's link. You can "build" a pc there from option that should be within your price range while being pretty good. You could probably a PC from scratch for cheaper if you know what you're doing. My pc was originally prebuilt by Alienware three or four years ago. I didn't know how to build one and heard good things about this brand. It's still kicking, but the only the motherboard and processer remain from the original system specs. Ideally, find a prebuilt that will last you a few years and has room for future upgrades.

GTX760 2 GB card would should be more than enough to play this game at max settings.

If you're trying to cut corners in order to save some cash/keep it below your price ceiling, one thing you'll want to take a look at is memory. Memory's cheap, but you don't really need more than 8Gb for gaming. You'll rarely use above 4Gb.

As for the video card, you have your Nvidia and Ati camps and while I personally like Nvidia myself, Ati can save you a considerable amount of money for near comparable gfx cards. The GTX 760 you listed is a great card, but you could save a little cash by looking at the GTX 660 which is still a great card and should definitely last you a long time before anything comes out that requires serious upgrades.

Yes they did break something with the graphics patch today. Many threads are popping up with it. Hopefully that is addressed soon!

Ok free tips get Amd radeon parts fuck Intel and Nvidia. Amd ig gamer and overclocker parts. Intel is well they are the dell's of the gaming parts. Yes people will cry and argue these views, and I couldn't care less I have built many custom pc's ranging from 800 dollar builds up to 3k builds and i can assure you Amd is the way to go.
