Impossible to be Sumoner AND Scholar?

Yeah this they stare Attributes points this has even been confirmed by the producer himself.

I just plan to go 15/15 Int and Mind. Just split the difference and be adequate instead of awesome.

i have my doubt that 15 points, in the order of hundreds of point will be that big of an issue anyways.

This is funny... anway.. me being stupid i had put ALL my points into MND cause i was goin scholar* i am a scholar now* BUT heres the catch.. when u equip the scholar stone INT and MND automatically switch.. so on that note i have more INT then I have MND... so I SUGGEST TO ALL ARCANISTS... go FULL INT.. cause it Does switch automatically. just a heads up...

If you mess up dont forget you can always buy a stat reset scroll from you Grand Company for 10,000 Seals... which if u do GC levies takes about an hour n a half to get to...and u save up allowances

Can anyone confirm this observation? Does that mean all Arcanists pre-Scholar should dump points into INT?

I would really like to know this as well.

I intent to make Scholar and Summoner my main jobs, and I feel I should be able to swap between them just like you would swap between White Mage and Black Mage, without having to gimp myself by splitting my points. The quick and easy solution would be to take away Cleric Stance from Scholar and give it to Summoner. As it is though, I haven't put any points in my Arcanist yet because I still don't know what to do
