I think they have enough people who will stay to sustain them and there will always be new people joining.
So as long as they fix these teething problems (which I'm sure they will) then I think this won't be another failure.
The game itself is well made for an MMO and the only major issue at the moment is server size which is solvable.

Well...
Look at :50
He's so in love with this game and the community.
I kinda feel for him and feel bad for this games rough start. I admit I'm pretty frustrated myself so bad that
shit happens lol. But I'm still upset I can't play. :/
He put a lot work into a broken game. The pressure was on and everyone expected him to
have things perfect, but you're only human. I kinda see it now thanks to this video. Go Yoshi!

The solution is simple.
Those that failed now.... fired.
There is a slew of people wanting jobs, get in better working people.
and that will send a clear signal that if you screw up, then you get fired.
Simple.
as for me, I am just waiting to get my toon into server and I am never logging off, like everyone else that afk's

I'am frustrated with the server issues myself but i'am with you Yoshi. I know from other mmo's that creating and supporting one can be pretty harsh. But from your interviews and your speech i can see that you care for your game and your players. For that i want to thank you, since nowadays this isn't a given. ありがとうございます。 がんばれ。^^
This game will be great. Just wait and see everyone. :P
