Funny that nobody is seeing the real problem in this.
The fact that it is so under prepared for a population that Yoshi was aiming for.
I don't have a problem with a que, what I DO have a problem with is not being able to fucking log in at all.
Its bullshit
Characters on 5 different worlds, 2 above the 20's and I cant log in with any of them.
How nice that some of you guys paid to play. You know what, I payed to play too ... 3 months ago, and all I have been able to see for early access is a screen that says world is full. try again later. Besides the obvious fact these issues should have been worked out in the betas, there does need to be a queue, and the game should kick all the afk people who are stealing space and game time from others who have paid to play but can't while they are sitting there doing nothing and SE is hording slots.

Curse loudly at the screen after doing this over and hour
Do this about 30 times, get frustrated check the forum for a second
Rinse Repeat.
the dumb boot me afk would suffice until they got the servers taken care of.
Could you please elaborate on why it wouldn't solve anything? The only thing i can think of is macroing running into a wall repeatedly as to not get afk'ed if they were to implement it. There are videos all over the place of hours of afkers not to mention people on this very forum admitting to as much. Implementing an afk system would boot people that do this and allow a fair shot at others, like myself, that have been waiting about 14 hours today alon to get in. That doesn't count the 12 i waited yesterday. Anything at this point regarding an afk boot timer would be greatly appreciated by many of us.
