I played a ton of MMOs since EQ1, this is by far the worse. i''l give them til wednessday tops.


To the dev's, you made a fun game, but what you are doing now will ruin it, it won;t kill it, but I know a great many people that just said I won't buy it, because of all the negative feedback you are getting. So, you're loosing a lot of potential customers, you are not aware you could of had, I can think of 4 people who were on the fence and decided not to bother.

What they need is a translator with some sense. An apology like that works in Japan because it has more meaning, closer to groveling, they need someone who can translate it to cover the meaning not just word for word.

That wouldn't really work, because it's still an apology from a Japanese person that is used to apologizing to other Japanese people. "I'm sorry you guys can't play our game. We're trying to make it so you can play" can only be translated in so many ways, and the base meaning behind the words won't be enough to calm everybody down.

Well it is Square Enix, a company that is basically on it's way out, in the toilet, circling the drain, now people can probably see why.


I played, maybe 6 mmos since eq1, this is by far the worst.

I agree with you that many launches were succesful with 200k+ players, however, in our case, I think we are looking more at 2 millions than 200k....Japan is crazy with FF
