Guild Wars 2 had a overflow server for every server that would queue you in after like 20 minutes of playing and I think it ran perfectly...
Tomorrow night is going to be a joke if they don't get a viable queue working. To think I bought this game a second time. Sigh.
Not just a queue, but a prioritized queue. Getting DCed in a group due to the game crashing or some other reason, then having to wait in line or not being able to get in at all is bad.
I have gotten the 1017 error WHILE being in a 20 person queue, log back and queue is down to 7 and i get in. I and some friends have also gotten the 1027 repeatedly when trying to log in, only to all of the sudden get online and skipping the queue entirely. So that cant be right.
Realm transfer doesn't solve anything.
The problem is the server I want to play is FULL. (Tonberry in my case)
Unless a lot of people in Tonberry decide to move out to another server, this problem still remain. And I don't believe it's really can happen.
Plus many people still waiting to join the server, So even some people move out, it will reach the full limit again in no time.
Every online game have the same problem on the first day. But none of them drive out their customer to another server and call it a solution.
If you really don't have a plan to increase server capacity. Instead of Transfer system, I want a Refund System. So I can get my money back and move on.
