Long queue after 30?

I hear 30+ from my husband as a tank is instant still....maybe it is the Scholars.

im happy that i dont have to take hours to form and deploy a group like in ff11. trying to band a pug party together was a real hassle at times. on top of that, after you have invited ur members, now all of u need to pick and travel to a destination! i will proudly craft, grind and kill time while waiting in a queue to do stuff XD

I've started queuing as SMN as I started doing the 35+ Dungeons. Queues started taking to long as healer and when I queued up as DPS I would be in the dungeon in about 5-10 Min. I only do each new dungeon once or twice, but that's how my queues have been going.

I'm pretty sure it does. My buddy plays a tank, and pre-30; it was Healers with the instant queues. Post 30 it's the tanks with the instant queues. The only thing that changes at 30 is Scholars become queue-able as Healers...

So yeah, it's Scholars.

Yup... First time I noticed it was when I first queued for Haukke Manor after hitting lvl 30
My first thought was "Almost no one is lvl 30 yet so thats probably why", but after a few more tries and having to wait half hour for a queue each time, it became pretty obvious it was Scholars taking the place

It seems to have gotten better lately though, or maybe its just because Im selecting E, F, D to increase my changes (I highly recommend it, everyone speaks english anyway), but on certain dungeons like Stone Vigil and Dzamael, the queues are nearly instant again, so... YAY

Plenty of other things to do in this game than complain about Queue times. Be lucky you are even in the game playing whilst other folks are still battling the 1017 Raid Boss.

If SCH were the issue than that would mean that healers now outnumber DPS, which is not the case. The issue is the lack of tanks 30+.

Safe to say now there are plenty of lvl 30's around.

My guess is that the sea of carbys turned into a sea of fairies and a lack of tanks to go around

As others mentioned:
I think it's a combination of lack of Tanks (still) and more jobs that can queue as healers now (new). After all before 30 it's only Conj who can queue as healers and there are a whole lot of SCH out there now.

I noticed longer ques too, always waiting on tanks.
