considering how you could sell the prorder keys for 10 euro easily, yeah, paid for early access :P The OP is quite stupid it seems ^^

OP doesn't realize that some version 1.0 users who are not legacy players had to pay for the standard edition of the game. These users paid specifically for early access and in-game items. You also fail to realize that "time" is "money". Majority of the people here are complaining because they want to play a game they can't in which they took time off to play.

Also the argument that a lot of people use that an MMO is expected to have problems is a poor excuse. This is SE's 2nd chance at FFXIV. This game is supposed to help rebuild the FF name, not hurt it more. This game should be near perfect before launch.

You can't say that. I bought 3 CE editions(2 PC and 1 PS3). Just because you believe 1.0 players get the game for free, doesn't mean the most of us aren't still going to buy a Physical box to support or to put in with our collections of FF fan fare.

And there are no victims in this. You all just need to be patient and let Yoshi & Team balance out the server stresses. This is a normal process, and it differs from company to company but it still occurs.

My bad...First time I've ever pre ordered anything and now I see my error. If this game is even still in my field of vision in a month or so maybe I'll try again...maybe. Frustrating and disappointing weekend...lesson learned. Fool me once shame on you...

This. I have a 1.0 account but I am not legacy, so I bought the game again exclusively for the early access and decided to reroll with some friends. Between the 4 emergency maintenances in 2 days, severe login restrictions (their words) and general issues, this feels like a bad launch. Add the fact that the JP servers (really Asia/Oceania but its labeled JP) have not had these issues and were only brought down once to apply the changes they've been making to the NA/EU realms really leaves us with an early access that half works and pisses us off.
