I UNDERSTAND THAT SOME SEVER ARE OVERLOADED BUT HOW CAN WE PLAY WITH FRIENDS IF WE PICK A SEVER AND ITS FULL NOW. CAN WE GET A CODE TO ADD FRIENDS OR SOMETHING? I AM TRYING TO GET TWO OF MY FRIENDS ON THE DIABOLOS SEVER AND THEY CANT EVEN GET IN TO PLAY. :mad:THEY NEED TO MAKE MORE ROOM FOR PEOPLE TO GET ON OR GIVE PEOPLE SOMETHING KIND OF CODE SO THEY CAN PLAY WITH THEIR FRIENDS.
We need more voices on this, its a shame I can't play a game I paid full price for. SE needs to be aware that this is a problem. And it is. A HUGE ONE.

So my question is, Is SE doing anything about this? I have seen/read nothing about them doing anything as of yet. I think it is ridiculous to have paid for a game that has such severe login issues. On 8/26 I was lucky enough to make a character on my friends realm, ULTROS, character creation has since been stopped. Doesn't make since because he can't login and neither can I. Also because of the character creation issue my brother cant make a character on the realm im on.......if new realms are made will free transfers be offered? Having played in B3 + B4 + early access via FF14:ARR collectors edition, im assuming that if this issue isn't fixed in a timely manner that your giving free play time....or maybe issuing refunds. That only seems right because as a paying customer, I am unable to use the product because of an issue on YOUR END (SquareEnix).

I dont know what to say. I dont want to sound like a broken record, or complaining about this too much, but it needs to be said because there is only so much a man can do about having his time wasted like this.
Please fix the login problems. It's really uncool, from what I can tell - half of the people who want to play, are not able to.
I've spent my entire day off(one day off a week) trying to get onto my server. Only managed to once, and after an hour and a half of playing I got disconnected. It's been 4 hhours since then, and I have had no luck getting back on.
Please address this. Promptly.
I think this is pathetic seeing how not ONE gaming company can get an early access or a release of a game, even somewhat decent. I can name a few games that screwed up early access and release too. For the amount of money SE has made from the pre orders for you would think they can afford to fix this issue by now.
Either way I hope you are going to be offering free character transfers because, I bought this game to play with my group of friends which reside on Cactaur, whereas I am stuck on Lamia and cannot even create a character on Cactaur. I have no issue in paying for a transfer, but if I pay for it, it better damn well let me choose the server I want to go to, not have the severs locked and being told which servers I can only transfer to.
Hopefully everything gets figured out, I know I am not the only one who is a tiny bit pissed off about this garbage, because we all work hard for our money and deserve the best of the best as being paying customers.
oh hey, it's the bitchy girl from earlier again. last thing i'm gonna bother posting on these forums. if you guys cant be bothered to put in even the 75% effort it takes to just have enough space for people to even get logged on within the next week, i.e. next tuesday, you will have lost a subscriber. i'll go back to TOR. the game is awesome, but i'm not wasting my time with login bullshit. not once today have i been able to get in due to this stupid ass "full world" error 1017. this is the singularly biggest problem you could ever have had, and you've failed to deal with it entirely. and it will cost you a great deal of money.... also, Square was FAR better off on their own before they became SE. EVERYTHING was better. please Sqauresoft... if theres any shred of you left in there, please come back to us.

Yeah, totally agree with what people are saying on here. i mean i'm legacy for crying out loud and yet i can not get on due to server full... i dont even get the option to wait in a queue..... i'm not saying that legacy should get everything but come on!!! ive been paying for this crap since FFXIV as many others have!!!
This is a huge problem. I get the 1017 error and you said maybe next week? I upgraded to the CE version so I can have those items such as the cat mount and I cannot even get on to ride it. I know you guys are working hard here but the fact that you under estimate how huge your fan base is and is now. I seen hundreds of people came from WoW so congrats you pulled off what you were trying and they love the game. Now fix this server problem so you wont lose the new fan base. How are you going to have a que and I get in on the que and then get kicked because server is full. Program the que better at least so the people in que dont get the server is full message.
Why is there a que if you get that message anyhow?
