[Question] Will we ever be able to ride Chocobos/Airships?

Oh of course we will have airships / chocobos =D !! Right now tho, Yoshi P working on the main core issues of the game but will eventually start getting the chocobos we so want =D

Yeh it is stupid.

We have the models, they have animations. If you mob file swap to chocobo it will run around its fully animated, we've seen airships they're all animated, theres already an airship dock in every city we've seen that from people flying around using "against the tos stuff", we've already got the "system" for airships that is being used by the ferry that could be copy pasted (see that? something you can benefit from by copy pasting) and riding chocobo isnt difficult.

So why they're not done i dont know.

We didn't see chocobos/airships till Zilart in XI. That was almost a year after the games release.
Well probably get that stuff once we get Ishgard, aka the PS3 launch.

I can't wait to play and ride a choco. :3

Well, now now, i'm pretty sure the models and the animations aren't the only thing that's needed to include a full chocobo riding feature :D

Actually, Yoshi-P has mentioned them in recent interviews, as recent as last week. From what I read, he understands that having chocobos and airships is extremely important to making this a true Final Fantasy game, and that they're working on them. They want chocobos to be different from what they were in XI, and I'm sure they'll be in the game when the time is right for them.

Mh that sounds a lot like what tanaka used to say. I missed that one.

I'd also like a response on this from the actual game developers, and not just fellow uninformed players saying "They'll get to it, I"m sure." We heard that from enthusiasts every single day of alpha, beta, and closed beta, and look where that got us. :3

Ishgard is the key to everything.

It would kinda be uninformed to assume well have a FF game w/o Chocobo's. Same goes for airships and someone named Cid. If memory serves me right, there was only one FF game w/o a Cid. And like Pico says, Ishgard is key. Ill bet money that is the first expansion pack. And I'm just salivating in anticipation that it will be an epic of epicness.
