Its a real shame imo how can they make this so hard
actually i think i may have resolved my issue after reading a lot of threads here. you will need to find your order. also, i would check to see that you were actually charged it may be that you didn't succeed in getting through the purchase. if not maybe you should try again. once that is done you should be able to do what i said in the edited post.

I have the same problem... ordered august 10 from SE store(EU) and still no code...
Dont panic the Finderorder website only works when you bought the game from the NA store
Since your from the EU you get the code directly by mail
Ok its weird you didnt get yours yet got mine on 22 august in the early morning
But keep in mind i did 4 tickets with them about not getting my key
(yes 4, i was worried too :p)
Did that caused them to resend my key? maybe
Or are they just late with the key because of the amount of people?
Best thing to do is make a support ticket
Also make sure you check your spam folder and you dont have something enabled that automatic removes SPAM
For example my mailhost automaticly put SPAM mails into a seperate folder on the Webmail
So in my PC client for mails i never seen those
If you don't have your key at this point its time to contact whoever you preordered from and ask them about it, EA starts in less than 24 hours
In my case, when I ordered the digital version from SE, I recieved an immediate order confirmation with a registration code/serial code included in the confirmation email. It says you will recieve an email with an EA code but I've heard that is also false. I went to http://preorder.na.finalfantasyxiv.com/ and got my EA code after I registered with the new serial code and it worked perfectly.
