Is there any definitive way to be sure you are all set for early access?

Since the patch and login servers have in fact been up all day you can download your launcher and the complete game client if you have early access.

You also said if your patcher says "maintenance" youre good...which is bad info.

And can you d/l the game a.k.a play the game as of now? if that statement is false under your perception?

This isn't a matter of perception. You wrote words, and we read them. Your words were incorrect. Now would you kindly leave my thread?

Bad info spreads to everyone that are unaware/misinformed. The more threads are made about this the more threads that actually have the correct info get shafted to the bottom and people are misinformed.

The only way you can check to my understanding and what I've read on this forum is that if your client has a blacked out play button with the early access/or launch of game on top of it you're good to go.

This is true!! I just tested it. I'm not pre-ordering my game till tomorrow so have no early access at the moment. Once I logged in with the client I got sent to a new page saying:

No valid or active service account is available to play Final Fantasy XIV: A Realm Reborn.

Then proceeds to give you the link to register your code at the Mog Station.
