Why did you choose this server?

Like I had a choice in the matter. *shakes fist*

Simply put, a personal friend of mine was following someone we both knew from FFXI on the Odin server who was following another group of his own friends, and they chose Gilgamesh. So, yeah... I basically tagged along with them all.

I rolled a D20 and it came up Gilgamesh

rolled in gilgamesh on ffxi from '03-'10. 1.0 didn't have a gilgamesh :( but now it's back and i'm looking forward to see old friends and familiar names in the new old place :3

Multiple active communities + high population = infallible multiplayer experience

I have a FC I hooked up with and they are based on Gilgamesh, so now so am I. It also has a large RP community and that's something I'd like to try.

I like to play in the big pond.

Ill be honest here. Before I was accepted into p3 I surfed the subreddit r/ffxiv. Basically I wanted another way to communicate with a community, other than Their base forum or joining a FC website. The popularity for me has been a 50/50; They're almost equal in pro/cons. Told 3 of my friends to join me on this server. Only one now has followed me in P4. My planned Fc company up and changed their server choice to cactaur, to which I didn't join because I've made my choice.

Our Free Company chose to make its home here when it was first announced.
