How do I see my Collector's edition status?

Unfortunately, you would need the additional digital upgrade.
Changing the status of a current Windows service account must be done through a digital upgrade. Your current service account cannot be overwritten with a new registration code from the collector's edition.

I'm in the same situation, but I preordered the physical version of the CE as opposed to the digital version specifically because of the physical components. What is my best option?

If you were planning to upgrade from Standard Edition to Collector's Edition AND also wanting the physical items, your best bet was to pre-order the PS3 CE, because it would link your PSN and SE account and auto-upgrade you to CE status.

I`m in the same boat here-.- They should be able to easily fix this. At least they should´ve given a response about this issue.

I've also been trapped by this. I just sent an email to customer support to try and see if I can get this addressed - does anyone else see an option to chat with customer service, or call them? All I see are the email support options, which I'm not a big fan of...

They had threads about this though. Convoluted serial system? Oh heck yes. Be that as it may some people simply just didn't bother to read.

How can you describe it as people 'not bothering to read' something that they didn't know existed?

I´d like some source to see if it really is that super clear to notice

so from my understanding.

1.0 non-legacy member:
no early access
no pre-order items
has to buy PS3 version for pre-order and early access.
there is a digital upgrade for non-CE but it is not yet available and is not a pre-order.

1.0 legacy member:
early access
no pre-order items
has to buy ps3 version for pre-order
there is a digital upgrade for non-CE but it is not yet available and is not a pre-order.

both 1.0 versions
PS3 pre-order code is auto applied to a new PS3 account that will be linked to the 1.0 account when you physically receive the PS3 game codes that come with the game released on aug 27.

Therefore, 1.0 non-legacy members have no access to early access.
