Can I change my forum profile name?

I was expecting the forum name to be our main character name, it would have made more sense at least.

I even forgot I used this name in 1.0...

But seeing how they list the character details just below it, I'm not too concerned.

I think you will find that it may not be possible. I just registered my username for FFXIV forum and this is what stated below the username field.

I'm not too worried about my name, I chose it as a forum handle as opposed to anything linked to my character. Though I would have rather liked a different one. Either way, my character's actual name is right below it.

avatars are our main character, so basically we can change our avatar if we have more characters
however, it seems that low leveled characters have some restrictions in posting
i can only post 2 posts with my level 1 character, so i switched to this character now instead

Well guess I am stuck with this casually picked handle for a while, it also doesn't display a headshot in the profile on the left of the screen atm

I went into the forums 2.5 years ago thinking I would be Fiosha in Hydaelyn, for like... til' account do us part.

I probably should have went with a more character neutral name in hindsight, but ah well. Would be interested in seeing a Forum Handle name changer, but will make do if it is not so.

I just created this User name this morning and it gave me a warning that it couldn't be changed. I am guessing you could get support help to change it. And as far as switching your Avatar you just have to switch main character selection.

I find it unfortunate, that we haven't retained the names of our beta forum handles. Mostly so I know who people were, and who not to take seriously. :)
