Another big quake hit Japan. 7.4 magnitude

7.4 magnitude is about 1,000 times weaker than 8.9......

and I don't think it can do anything to Japan

It's better to just not post anything if all you can say is something which pokes fun at a very real and dangerous issue.

That aside, I hope this new quake and upcoming tsunami doesn't cause too much damage/ grief and that people don't give up hope in these hard times over in Japan.

You must not live in an earthquake zone, Adol.

7.4 is nothing to sneeze at, but it's nothing to get scared over either. A 7.4 quake and 1m tsunami warning over there is like a severe thunderstorm warning in the American midwest.

I'm not condoning Betel's tone, but his/her point is valid. Let's not make a big deal out of a fairly common event. There's already enough drama here and in Japan.

You are correct, Eekiki, I live in the UK which isn't very earthquake prone at all. It's just shocking for me though considering I've never experienced a quake in my life (20 years) and I keep seeing all this doom and gloom stuff written on headlines...

I'm seeing people blow things out of proportion. "It's not even close to 9.1 magnitude" (TSUNAMI WARNING) "The tsunami is one meter tall" (IT MAY KILL HUNDREDS OF MILLIONS), herpderp.
