Seems giraffes are pretty major in FFXIV.

Although, if they're talking about giraffes... Shouldn't they be showing an Elezen?

SE has never been known for understanding western cultures. look at FF Mystic Quest. that game was just insulting.

Its not a TV commercial. In almost all video game stores in Japan that I've seen, there are always demo videos playing of upcoming games that are used as a type of in depth promotional advertising. Typically there be an little section of the store devoted to that game. Its pretty neat.
