I wasn't aware you could get past the 750 limit imposed on Beta Forums by editing your post. I linked my original Thread there to here. Anyways, you got some pretty interesting ideas for using the controller on the game. I'm particularly interested because I use a controller myself. However, I'm still trying to get used to the controller bars. Might take me a while, so adding new things could be frustrating for me. ^^;

I hear ya', lol. I just think it'd be easier for people allowing them to, I guess keybind?, combos to a button. So instead of hitting X, O, Triangle for a combo it'd just be X, X, X. Then if, say you miss the combo or didn't pull it off in time, it went back to the initial one.

Hmmm, that is an interesting idea indeed. It's kind of like a twist on the battle play in the game The Legend of Dragoon. Now I'm really interested. It'd be cool if you got an answer by a dev on these ideas.

Out of curiosity... wouldn't making the ever-so-common "/10char" posts be considered an act of bypassing as well?

I just, you know... don't know if I've really ever seen anyone get jumped on for that one, so I was just wondering.

Back on topic, any additional methods of expanding Gamepad functionality is a-okay in my book! Make it so!

Jealous, to say the least, Dhalmel.

for me, the only change they need to add for gamepad to make it more enjoyable is to add the option to use the 1.0 gamepad config. it was much more fluid and easy to use and learn along with being completely customizable over the hotbars they put in place.
