Lore of Lalafell

I had always assumed the the grassy islands far south of Limsa Lominsa were their homeland, and that when they moved to Eorzea, those who moved to places that did not require much adaptation (La Noscea) remained fairly similar to their ancestors, thus becoming modern Plainsfolk, whereas those that settled in and would one day dominate Thanalan became the hardened Dunesfolk.

Ok you just made my day! I've been wondering what the "beasts of burden" were for the dunesfolk since 1.0.... maybe we'll get a small mount version of whatever it is xD j/k It would be amazing if they were ada's would make lalas that much more epic to tame such giant beasties XD

I always kind of thought they would have ridden Buffalo or Goats... or maybe even a giant sand worm which would totally take me back to Dune.
