Obligatory Windows Phone version request post.
This. I've been doing some poking around online to find some way to have multiple copies of Android apps working and installed separately, but it seems to require some sort of unpacking and altering of coding and then repacking or something. All very technical and easily screwed up and very likely illegal, so I won't be doing any of that, nor do I recommend anyone else do it. I really want it for both of my accounts though so if there's any simpler and safer and legal way to do this, please share!
If you read the eula it does say that decompiling or reverse engineering of the app is prohibited, and this is required to install more than one copy of the app. Unless you can dual boot your phone, then you can have one copy on one installation of Android, and another copy on the other version (this will require a custom kernel and therefore it will void your warranty.)
Yeah, that's why I said it'd be illegal and asking if there was another way. I also wouldn't trust myself not to brick my phone by playing with its root settings like dual booting. There should be an Android version of Sandboxie or something for instancing programs, but ah well, guess not.
I really wish they'd implemented an optional in-app account association that you could log out of if you wanted so you could attach several accounts to the same app if you so chose. They must realise plenty of people have multiple accounts and that plenty of families who play together share a single phone.
Well that's rather weak. I had sort of thought it'd work in a similar fashion to HSBC secure keys and Blizzard authenticators.
With those when you download the app you can enter the unique serial code on your token and you're instantly golden.
If you don't have one then it'll generate a serial code for you.
that way you could use both seamlessly because they both generated the same codes.
