How about the life of the saints?
Back on the 1.0 FFXIV website, it was written that the depiction on the guildleves were of the saints, each representing a certain virtue. 3 saints were identified back then: Saint-Daniffen (Valor), Saint Moergynn(Constancy), Saint Tothor the Ratcatcher(Diligence)

I did write a story about Saint-Daniffen but yeah... amateurish work ;>.>
Of course, it's not an exaggeration to think that the exploit of these saints to be written. Somewhat to what the Illiad and the Odyssey were for the ancient Greeks: stories to educate the youth about the world. I'd love to see the stories of those Saints written out, one day.
