Can my level 50 start in a new server?

No. This is because a lot of returning players don't want to be on the same server as so-called "Legacy scum".

Pay for a second character, while you let your lvl50 sit dormant.

Play it through for a while, get to see the new content from a 'new player's perspective. The let this character go dormant, and go back to the Warrior.

Except those "Legacy Scum" can also make a character on those servers. Just not import their old ones.

There is two tiers (unless legacy) IIRC it's 13 dollars 1 character 15 for 8. I think most people will probably fall under 13 since you can level 1 character in all aspects, but for some the 15 will make more sense and it isn't much more

The reason level 50 players will be able to control the economy is because without level 50 players there will be no economy.


In comparison, without level 50 players there will be a minimal amount of crafters which creates a tiny market supply. This gives crafters a miniscule amount of competition.

Prices will be higher without the stable economy and there will be less gil to go around.
Especially for that Oak lumber you've just painstakingly farmed.

Starting an MMO without any gear already in the markets and nobody to make it is very frustrating.
Not to mention global gil will be in the thousands.

We're not all bad and we're not all going to rip you off and leave you for dead.
Please give us a chance.

So I wont be able to transfer to a server that my sister will be on soon? Can she join mine? She's a ps3 player, and I've been dying to play with her again. If I have to start over again, so be it...but that's a tad disappointing.

Ugh, and not ugh to you necessarily, but this information has been out a while and should be easy to understand. We don't know numbers or names yet, but let's Assume 10 servers. 5 "Old" and 5 "New". Characters being imported from 1.0 can only go to "Old" New Characters, from old accounts or new accounts, doesn't matter, can make that character on ANY Server, so long as it's not full. New if you want to avoid a current economy, Old for friends that already play, etc.

Ok let me shine some light.... maybe help you out a little... We will have 2 types of servers.
1. fresh meat: only new people, legacy can make fresh characters, but can not bring the old ones here.
2. 1.0 char servers: All the characters ported from 1.0 to 2.0 will be here, if new players choose they can make new characters here.

So your little sis CAN make a char on you server with your 50, however if she starts on a different server you will need to make a fresh character there with her as your 1.0 will not be able to transfer.
