It's not annoyance on my part it's just too damn bloody funny.
That thread he linked persisted throught, far as I know, ever since jobs were thought about until end of the game. And there were such obnoxious people it became... Hilarious. I don't really have a strong opinion myself, but most people didn't want to see Dragoon tied to a pet since it's not an actual traditional Dragoon thing. But y'know, Minions, it'd be an interesting nod not just to XI but to the entire debacle to have a Wyvern minion.
