Characters sliding on the ground... Will it be fixed for the release? Dev please?

I swear you people are going to complain about anything these days. What you should care about is the game play but of course most just want LOOKS to be good. I could care less as long as it isn't easy mode.

Likewise, it seems some people will accept anything and call it a day even though that's more detrimental than raising concerns. There is nothing good about that kind of animation when MMOs much older than this are more refined in that regard with lower graphical capabilities. The concern brought up was that it really doesn't look right to slide around and run in place like that when you've come to a stop or are coming to a stop.

It's obvious it's due to lack of optimization but some people rather get clearcut answers and there's nothing wrong with that. Did you also like how mobs had seizures when you attacked them? Someone asked about it and guess what? We got an answer that the flinching will be toned down and look at it, it is.

BTW is it just me, or do characters move just a tad too fast?

I was laughing my ass off when I actually seen someone ask yoshi if monsters will take fall damage hahahaha. Dude what 10 yr old asked this? hopefully the endgame is a bit more glamorous. Plus yoshi did say you won't need very good gear until you hit 50 hmmmmmm now im worried.

you didn't need it in 1.0 either...i did fine with lv35 NM gears until 50. Stats didn't matter much until you had high DPS weapon, and good armor. Since you lv kinda quickly, you don't need to spend a lot of time pre-50, so there's not much point in making tiers of gear for that, when you can go through it in a week or 2.

That was kind of funny, I mean, I get in FF games some monsters could hurt themselves but, all you'd have to do is gather up monsters, throw yourself off the highest ledge possible, have them follow, then nuke em down with 1 AoE nuke as it'd take off a sizable chunk of their HP when they hit the ground.

I think it was a question more for wanting more easy kills in the game sadly >.>

If it's any consolation, I noticed it, and it bothered me too.

Characters legs continue to move when the character itself comes to a stop.

I hope the animations get fixed or the client lag, or whatever it is, because it's distracting and noticing it makes it less enjoyable for me.
