I think he just made he wont get into the first beta or something. There going to be more of this the closer we get to the 25th on how SE screw there alpha members or there non-legacy members. I did say few week back that this is coming and i hoping beta forums open so everyone can just stay here making the same topic over and over and the rest of us can talk about what matter the game.

I do feel sorry for people who did not get legacy or wont play beta one but like you said it was said over and over and over. They even send email saying you only have few more week before you can get it.

Thats a bit below the belt, i know its meant as sarcasm but really?

Bait and switch would require prequalification, and because you had not "Prequalified" for legacy, your exclusion wouldn't be considered a bait and switch but a failure to meet the qualifications of the classification.

plus terms and services clearly point out that they can do what they like with your status at any time. they can cancel your entire account unprovoked without warning. so where a violation of the law that litigation would be warranted.... this situation would not fit.

man when i read this all that stood out to me was "Januray 6, 2012 and the start of version 2.0 beta" takes me back to the days i thought beta was in october :p

Maybe it is just me, but I don't get the Legacy VS Non-Legacy issue... It's simple to me;

Legacy - Supported/Play 1.0 for X period of time. For sticking with the game through hard times, SE gave discount/perks.

Non-Legacy - Didn't play, pay/paid a bit but not enough to meet X period of time.

I want to get into Beta, yes. But I don't feel that SE "owes" me anything and making a topic over it won't yield any results other than a reality check.

Plus, do you even know how many lawyers SE has? Good luck on that front :p

I'm glad you have an understanding of the law better then the attorney who told me this was bait and switch and prompted this whole situation. I'll be informing her that she has no clue what she's talking about and advise her to seek a new career field.

See when it comes to SE they have everything down. For crying out loud in the TOS it say they can ban you for no reason and i remember someone doing a lawsuit on SE about being ban he lost.

In your History it show you getting a new achievement 8/21/2012 that not enough time to get legacy. How about you tell us the day you start paying? Because if your next pay was Early Oct that mean you start paying in Aug not July like your saying.
