English Server doesnt necessarily have to be american.
Just so people know. You can copy paste in and out of the chat menu in XIV. IT allows you to use a translate website for atleast some semblance of understanding. If that fails. <Please use the auto translate feature!> is always a night kick int he bum.
Within the proper time periods you see quite a few English speaking players on Besaid. Even those who don't speak English tend to use the auto translate feature a lot. I've had few problems getting a point across to someone in a group. It would also probably help to find an English speaking LS within whatever server you choose.
would be nice to not have to translate everything they say tho atleast the majority of the server. and i noticed that tho there is an auto translate it cant say everything and alot of japanese people dont use it much seeing as how its mainly a japanese game.
Im thinking Besaid is the way to go on this tho i can tell its not as populated as my gyshal i would like to understand more people. i have made a toon on Besaid. LF English LS btw. but ill give this a try and tell everyone how well i think its populated with english speakers.
So far havent seen any japanese people talking ^^ looking much better than my old server. i might stay on besaid
It should be noted that unofficial role-playing server as well, which may matter to some. Personally, I've seen a fair number of Japanese speakers on the server, so I'm not sure it can be said (gigglesnort) that Besaid has the highest number of English speakers.
Trabia and Wutai seem to have the highest NA population by my guesstimation.
Trabia also has the bonus of rhyming with a part of the female anatomy.
The time you're playing also has a bearing on whether or not there will be a higher concentration of English-speaking people. Wutai is pretty active in the evenings Eastern time.
Besaid is the unofficial "role-play" server, so you will very likely find lotsa people there, too.
