Pet Companions

i totally would love to have a pet! lil birdy, cat or something.
Of course they would disappear when you enter a battle but other than that, yes please.

PET Companions? .. NO THANKS ! Only pets i wanna see is for SMN and BST type jobs...SE would never go as far as doing a pet system for every one unless it was for chocobo riding. Lol its funny Ive been reading threads and people think SE is just gona start doing things like other American RPG's do like swimming? Pets? Jump at will button? camon now ..there not.

SMN and BST type jobs have no pets.
Having a monster or avatar in battle is not the same as having a little pet.

Semantics really, as in XI they're called 'Pet commands', which is what you'd get with a 'pet' system as well.

Pet jobs yes like in FFXI, but pets no thanks not ones to walk around with you anyhow...maybe make more use of our path companions somehow they are wasted at the moment.

I miss having a Wyvern like in FFXI. That was the reason I picked Dragoon. I guess it was just wishful thinking when I picked lancer in this game, hoping it would be added at some future time.

I want a paintable Moogle a'la Crystal Chronicles! If you can make it do the braindead crafting for me that would be just great SE.
