If you get the Newsletters, You'll 100% will get the E-mail for Beta ( If your Legacy).

You don't need to sign up if you're a legacy member. The beta signup page states this, and it has been stated on this forum multiple times. It doesn't hurt your ability to get into the beta, but you don't need to do it unless you are wanting to test the ps3 version.
