Monster Fishing/Boogieman in the bushes/Giant worm in your mine

And what about those players or alt characters that don't want to level a DoW/DoM class & job? I guess they should just run away each time till they break down and decide to level at least one battle class because it's actually a lesser nuisance than to have their peaceful gathering time interrupted. . . .

Without being able to say what the DoL will be like since I'm still under NDA and I just played the Alpha version, I can still answer one of the question.

- Random monsters getting caught while fishing will not happen. Gathering won't give you junks anymore (past dev letter). You want a moat carp, you either get a moat carp or nothing at all. With that in mind, this clears it for the random fished monsters. Also, the "can't change class during combat or aggro" system makes it pointless to have a random monster pop when fishing.

Would be nice to make gathering something more than -Click- wait, -Click- wait, -Click- wait, rinse & repeat

I don't know about monsters spawning as DoL's have 0 fighting skills. Maybe something where you have to press a combination of keys randomly with in a certain ammount of time to get "harder to gather" items. Just a thought.

Actually if you were in the Alpha you're not even supposed to mention that. The only thing you can refer to in terms of gathering is what was actually shown in the SE released Alpha footage (which didn't cover fishing at all, and the devs have mentioned before that fishing will be different than botany and mining) or translated messages from the community reps.
