Beta & Arcanist

You say this like it has to be one or the other. I believe it's both. I'd be very surprised to see arcanist before stage 4, if it's even playable then.

Arcanist will not be in beta but only at launch.

Didn't read all of the posts, just the first few. But anyways, if they plan to have it release @ game launch, it would be an extremely good idea for it to be in beta. In fact, it would be all the more reason for it to be in beta so they can iron out any bugs with the class before release.

Now whether we'll get to play as Arcanist/Summoner, that's a different story. They may do internal testing for the class on private servers using the GMs and Staff that have been hired for launch.

i think it wouldn't be a bad idea to have them in the closed beta to get them tested by the community.
the feedback might be useful towards having all the old and new classes properly balanced at launch.

of course they will do internal testing anyways, but why limit it to a few employees, when they can have feedback on a large scale?
imo a test of the new classes in the closed beta can only contribute to a successful launch of the game.

The summoner was not definite- They have said "*may* not make it in time for launch" not "*will* not make it in time for launch"

They said arcanist would make launch but summoner wont.

I' cant wait for Arcanist class to come. it's gonna be a Nice feeling to have summoning magic for the first time.
