If that's the case that it works with a fake address and not with yours in SA, then it's definitely an issue (most likely legal) that you may not be aware of. It could have to do with a law on the Japanese end.

Anyways, the point of the thread is this will change on beta and SE will look outisde of NA, JP and EU. There a are a lot of problem with SE if you're not from those regions, remember back on 2008 on PlayOnline system started to use a system "Veryfied by visa" (and i don't remember how it was called on mastercard) that if you were from SA you always got an error. Manage to play it giving my credit card info to a friend from NA, so he put the info on his xbox (verified by visa thing only happened on PC).
Looking back at OP, this is an entitlement thread.
Can't really say more about it.Quote:

I think we would all like to test this game and give SE our feedback.
I think as people who dealt with the game for 2 years, we are a little entitled to help with the development. As customers who have stuck with the old version for so long, I think we would be an excellent choice to find out the issues of the game and bring them to light. I don't think wanting to help is anything worth belittling, and I certainly don't think OP is just in it for "duh early access demo". She just wants to know if her geographical location will restrict her to the beta as it did the alpha. I don't know where people are getting this holier-than-thou attitude from, acting like any critique or even question about Squares actions is tantamount to heresy, but it needs to stop. Protecting Square from negative (or in this case just plain curious) comments isn't helping them.
Stop blaming the players. Blame western developers that does this. As for the topic itself, SE doesn't officially support South Amercia as I recall (no studios there) so there's a good chance they may overlook it if you had to sign up as NA/EU with your SE account.
