Do you think they will keep servers up?

i hope not. are people seriously just logging in to chat? get trillian or something geez.

SE said they would shut the servers down if the player base fell below 30%. I suppose this means 30% of the normal player base. With all the people posting that they deleted the game off their HD, I am suprised the servers are still up. On Sargitanus people are just sitting around, but we had over 100 players online a couple of days ago.

The thing about progress not being saved is not valid. If you level up in the current game FFXIV-1, your progress is real. It just doesn't transfer to FFXIV-ARR.

I really want to know if I will get to keep my relic weapons in ARR... There was a hint that everyone in Legacy status would get a weapon set as a gift in ARR... along with a new mount and new barding armor and some other special gift, probably the commerative ring, and some sort of mark (tattoo?). So I am keeping my fingers crossed.

I completed Raven after the servers shut down so I probably won't get credit for that, but at least I know I did it!

Do you mean keep the relics you found inside the inn room? Not a chance lol.

I'd go back if they offered a free world transfer with my character reactivation so I could play with all these cool kids from the FFXIV forums. I know that none of my old buds on Alex/Shiva still play. Not that I can't afford it, just the fee leaves me feeling a bit sour considering the hundreds of pounds (probably close to £1k) I've already spent on the game.

Yeah the Relics the 12 Fairy left you under your bed will not stay come 2.0.

The amount of misinformation in this post is amazing. (also, how do you come up with Sargitanus :D)

I logged on last night to Sargatanas and there were a total of 5 people online, so no.

I was planning to stick around until the end, but am not so hopeful anymore.

First few days after the servers came back up we had about 80 people online during JP peak time. People were doing things just for fun, like fighting high level monsters, going through Dzemael and clearing every single monster along the way, doing an all PLD Ifrit fight, doing the Moogle WHM burn, etc.

But the numbers have plummeted in the past few days and it is very quiet now.

If the servers stay up I'll probably just log in to re-watch some cut scenes over the weekend, but most of our LS has moved over to PSO2 to play together until ARR launches.
