Also there wouldn't be any Dalmund/Mega-Flare radiation to transform most of the Miqo'te population into Manqo'te

The only other way to interpret the "Yet the bravest among us were spared, sent beyond the reaches of time" is that we were sent to a dimension where time does not exist, until Eorzea was rebuilt 5 years later, however because time does not exist where we went, it would seem like we were teleported straight to the future.
We are going into complex temporal physics and the multiverse theory here, the only two ideas that can explain what happened.
Could Atomos even have a stake in our salvation?
If you watch the trailer closely, you can see the stones of Gwyrr-Ann. Guess where the meteor debris was going? Ishgard. Ishgard is not spared in our fate.
I've been wondering this since the first time I watched the trailer. Maybe Loiusoix went along with the "other" plan Cid talked about. Or a new potential ally or threat appears, Dravanians?Quote:
With that said, we don't know what caused bahumut to stop killing everything and allowed the land to live for 5 years.
For some reason, I'm having a hard time finding the actual press release where this came from:
Bunch of news sites post the source as a PR, but can't find the original one lol.Quote:

That came from the TGS press release.
Well, the quote from that trailer supports the time travel theory but, until I hear an official "they time traveled," it's still just speculation to me. 5 years later =/= time travel. Even that press release supports what Luame said.
I know most will probably just think I'm being stubborn, and that's fine, but hopefully the matter will be officially settled in a future Q&A session or something.
