DirectX 11 isn't going to magically make everything appear 100x better. it will however allow hardware extensions on graphics cards to execute and hopefully allow higher frame rates.
things posted so far are only possible through a graphics engine overhual. considering they just did one of those, i don't think they'll be doing it again anytime soon. -
