Yah I am heading back and at the advice of some other people here on the forums I re rolled on Asura so hopefully get some levels and such and get to do some of the content I missed out on the first time I played it

Oh no..played FFXI for years and while I have a great nostalgia about it, my time playing it is over. With the way they've changed the cap to 99, released abyssea etc., it's really not the same game anymore to me.

I'll be playing a lot of DoTa2. Jug is a very fun hero to play. And I hope when samurai comes out that the gear for the job will have some similarities to Juggernauts dress code. Hopefully most of NA get into alpha after the Japanese crew gets a few weeks in.

FFXI - I started playing it again back in June.. I think. Maybe July. I picked it up because I missed it, and one of my friends wanted to get me in on his LS.

So I started... got my jobs to 99, focused on NIN for awhile, then focused on BLU after NIN was decent enough to solo things, got my 85 Almace, got SAM to 99 and geared, then when I hit my 80 Masamune, I said **** it.

It's not the same game anymore, there's no interesting content rolling out anytime soon - VW is boring as all hell - and I got sick of being forced to attend events 6.5 days a week past midnight.

Cant belive players want to go back and play that shit hole. SE screwed the game over with the aby expansion and its not even worth playing even if they did offer it as free too play.

Believe it because it is still their most profitable game, and people still play it.

The FFXI I enjoyed is gone.
