Fights to boring for whm.

Stone, wind, and water magic from older Final Fantasy titles has always been part of whm defensive, and offensive abilities.
Esuna, first appeared in FFI. In FFII, it was a White Mage spell that can heal multiple status ailments.

Its not your fault your team knows the strategy to beat a boss lol.

Yes, Shell got rolled into Protect a while back.


About White Mage in general, I don't find it boring at all. Between healing, keeping the party buffed, trying to land Stone and Aero on monsters whenever possible, managing MP and hate... I find I need to pay closer attention to the whole battle than I do when playing Black Mage (my second job).

yeah, but AV is a poor overall example (and coincounter especially bad) of stressful skill-based content for healers. there are much harder things to heal.

Not you are not on your own, I 100% agree with everything you've said. I hate how its so generic right now.

Remember when THM/CNJ used to be fun? Admittedly a little broken but great.

Poisona/Paralyna/Banish/Scourge/Siphons/Absorbs/Shell/Dia etc... I can't remember why they removed it all though.

I think it was for that and there were too many spells for the action bars I believe?

I guess its all down to 1.0 limitations yet again, at least I hope sooooooo.

You'd think Reraise would be a WHM spell still.

I just wish the spells were separate tbh, I want to be able to solely paralyze an enemy, slow/heavy/bind him etc. I really HATE how they are all tied to nukes.
