Am I the only one hoping for a Soprano's type ending?

CS showing the women and children going into cellars. All the adventurers outside looking at the meteor. And then BLACK OUT. FF song and text that says "Thanks for playing. Come back when the real game returns in April 2013."

Nothing is going to happen. It is just a period of time where people who really want to play the current version can keep doing so. It just won't "count."

Not so much Dalamud smacking into the planet(say like that "Impact" movie but like the ending CS of FFVII. Gia(the planet) fights off Dalamud(the meteor) and set of a chain reaction. Meteors in FF suppose to contain a gravity element...

meaning, if we prayed for salvation from the twelve gods, weren't they going to help Eorzea? Because of the chain reaction, isn't that how the Crystal tower is born? the fire from the sky is the only part of the catastrophe which took many lives,no?

Let's see, the realm is reshaped, how? Certainly not from a big crater in the planet, it's from a chain reaction, and metamorphosis of the planet.

Well, in the final two weeks people will throw away and give away gil and gear like its... the end of the world or something, and then on Nov 10th SE will announce "We've decided to save one last time on the 11th after all, kek ^^"
