Oh yeah, right.
- Pay extra to have a house that looks like a house, not a pile of dirt.
- Pay extra and you use costumes
- Pay extra and you get bonus gil + exp
- Want to have more than 1 mount? Pay extra.
This is giving an unfair advantage to people who pay more.
It's important to recognise that MMORPGs should not just be the usual 'hit level cap and grind dungeons for gear' -- I mean.. if you want the game to survive and be popular to an extent.
Everything in this game should be purchasable with gil.
I hope the game doesn't fall victim to its '15 second fans'.
It won't be a pay to win feature?
Not in terms of hitting level cap, and getting 'end game' gear. But is that really all there is to a game? If all you do is look forward to hitting the highest level and getting the best items, then I'm afraid no MMORPG will stay popular or fun for a long period of time.
I refuse to pay more to access content outside of the 'western norm' (excluding GW2 - Nice direction they took) in games.
But anyway, your idea is sort of useless as everything you're coming up with can just be made purchasable with gil.
