time limit on holding shared item

What I would really like to see is "Bound to Company" gear tag. This would allow Companies to Bind Gear to Company Bank so people cannot Join grab and ditch like so many used to do in XI. If a person does leave with Gear Bound to the Company it would automatically be removed and returned to the company Bank.

I remember link shells would break up over this kind of thing. People would run off with an item that everyone worked to get. We use to have 1 linkshell thief knife before it was a common drop and take it with us to events and assign it to the thf. The problem is who can you REALLY trust with a 20-50million gil item?I do like the idea of sharing for the better of the group. Sharing fosters community. It also prevents favoring. multiple people can have an opportunity to tank with 'insert epic shield or armor' rather than just the link shell leader to deemed it necessary for him to get the best gear first.
