Arcanist and summoner :D

I really want to play Arcanist! I like the idea of having two types of Carbuncle.

Hopefully the mage one has a cute hat...

I managed to unlock SMN in FFXI but I never did manage to get any of the additional summons, only had Carbuncle T_T hoping Leviathan makes a come-back if not as one of the 4, then perhaps an additional option down the road... Would love a second chance at being able to summon him, he's still my favorite since FFIV X)

am sure siren,diabolos,leviathan,shiva, someday in the long run and maybe odin as well but he will be a wondering primal,but i hope they give bahamut since they didnt in XI,

i hope we can get maybe 1 non elemental summon like hades which can help out with enfeebles. And PRAYING summoners limoit break is Bahamut ill be statified with that.

Four sounds like the perfect number of summons for Summoner considering all the other jobs only get 5 additional job-specific moves when going from lvl 30-50. Sounds to me like they are going to have the first four summoner-exclusive moves be the summons and the last one on the 15 minute timer be something similar to astral flow.

They will probably add more down the road when they raise the level cap, which will be due some point after the release of 2.0, but not at launch.

That would be awesome, but at the same time, Bahamut would have to have some purpose in the game and I feel you'd need to go through some kind of challenge or trial to get him to lend his power. The only problem with this is it would set a precedent and all max level limit breaks would need to be quested or something, which I personally wouldn't mind. Meteor is really powerful magic and it doesn't make a lot of sense to me that you just happen to naturally learn it.

ya but it would make the jerks who wanna keep Summoners from there roots say that bahamut it way to OP for summoner to have. Which the only ff that summoner didnt have him was in 11. Though now Yoshi is doing what 11 SHOULD have done with bahamut scaled them down to an essence of what the Primals actually are, so now , technically there really is no reason we cant have Bahamut as an actual pet.

and know i would NEVER expect Bahamut to be handed to us. i want a Relic equivalent, no i want even harder quest to unlock Bahamut. That way it will clearly be the line between who puts an effort into a job.
