Honestly 7 was "ok" it wasn't the greatest FF of all time 9 and 12 are ( to me anyways). and 12 was VERY Final Fantasy. but then again I'm only 1 person so I can be considered the minority on when FF started to see changes. FFX was the FF game that got me into FF games. " The Series is not what it onces was" if that was the case.. there wouldn't have been like 3 million units sold for it for FFXIII.Quote:
Seven mainline Final Fantasies after Final Fantasy VII, the series is not what it once was.
I tried my best to give my honest answers and what not, hopefully it pays off ^_^
i swear it took me an hour to beat zeromus or something, i mean that fight was long but getting smoked out then your friends come and raise you in spirit while the FF theme was too epic.
BUT yes that is a extremely good article, but as i read some of the comments i just want to punch a wall.
With FFXIII it seems they wanted to change it up, to attract new players this new vision wasn't to the traditional FF player which is why veteran FF fans didn't like it as much but other people did. I for one wasn't overly impressed with the game, why give mobs 10,000,000 HP, when you can do 4,000,000 damage with one stagger. That's the main reason I didn't like it. Think of Dark Anima on FFX with 10,000,000 HP (unless you want to cheat with attack reels) it will take ages to kill her.
Interesting read. I don't think I realized that 2.0 was going to need a whole new client. I mean, it makes sense in a way, but I hadn't thought about it. I figured that existing players would "upgrade" same as always, but it sounds like everyone will need to buy and register new discs? That's how I read it, anyway.
