Correct, the ?? (final boss of ff8 ifrit's father) one. Griever was the final boss, well, semi-final boss right before Ultimecia goes all crazy faceless chick on you.

I mean I don't want weaker versions of Ifrit/Garuda/Mog/Shiva/etc.

I'd have to laugh if they redid Knights of the Round and made them moogles instead. Instead of giving us just King Moogle, if thats even a possible.

It would be the epitome of cuteness and face palm if you go up against a mighty dragon..only to summon a score of fluffy moogles to lay a beat down, with the King Moogle to appear in the finale and skewer it with a sword.

I'd almost have to laugh a little if Alexander was/is inside Dalamud, since Darnus constantly goes on about purifying the world and that was Alexander's thing, Holy Judgment, purification.

I think that Alexander will be summon to save us from meteor...

Also, who says that we wont see "weaker forms" of the primals themselves? There is too much to speculate on what Yoshida is willing to do. Summoner class has to be able to summon something > Carby.

So what i'm guessing is you need a summoner class in your party to summon the primal that you got for your free company but before hand you have to fill the bar to get enough power to even summon him that the information i'm going by sure it not's 100% but would make sense that you need at least one summoner to use primal you got for your free company if not then no big deal i don't think people going to care anyways.

and yoshi-p said many time he does not want the primals to be summon by loads of smn it just look fake so only one free company can at a time per world so there goes weaker forms out the window which i don't mind because in ffxi it just look dumb seeing 10 ifrit flying around.

Now can they have the other type of summon sure there loads to pick from that list like cait sith and many more.
