Why DNC is not performing well

DNC has had ups and downs in EW. At some point, forgot which season/patch exactly, they overbuffed it on Waltz and everybody was abusing it at top tier. Some other patches it was meh.
It had a serious problem with WhM being a hard counter to it with polymorph (and WHMs were everywhere), but otherwise the LB was a lot more functional because of the snapshot, and also because you could still pre purify.

It's definitely one of the most annoying classes out there solely because your LB dictates how everyone plays around it and thus why this class will be always hated by everyone.

There is classes that rely equally or more on the team, namely a lot of ranged jobs. SCH is the more egregious example and guess what, SCH is completely junk at low ranks and absolutely meta at high level, because high level players know how to take advantage of it. That's only half the case with DNC, because while allies know how to take advantage of a DNC LB better at high level, the enemy also knows how to deal with it, which isn't a problem for SCH, for example.

GNB is literally the least of your worries past Diamond rank, partnered or not. A GNB is very much killable in crystal+. GNB is a problem in diam and lower, not above.
