I love Crystalline Conflict but...

The reason I mind AST's stun is not that it's absolutely everywhere since it's just from LB, but it's the same question as for PCT: why the heck does this job even needs this behind its LB?

Either way, why is the team not peeling or at least trading kills, that's always the real question in solo ranked isnt it? But there could always be many explanations, it can be comp disadvantage, it can be skill gaps, bad positioning, miscommunication or just luck. It's not that the system doesn't work although it certainly has questionable balance on specific jobs, but it's also about the feeling, and the frustrations the game can provide. I think it's worthy of consideration..

The game has become a stun-fest, chain-stun does not require tactics or skill, it is enough to attack in a crowd, and now it's just stupid.

Old system was better period. Just because it was "hard" to track things doesn't mean that it was a bad thing. It distinguished people from bad to good ones. Same as why previously nobody played BLM, GNB, RDM and some others. They all required skills and reading. Then square decided to let them be dumb classes that everybody can just spam buttons. Make purify dumb and a lot more bad changes by the devs.

It's not just the amount of CC that we endure but also stupid healing and shields. One Scholar effectively prolongs the game like crazy. Pair it with Sage's LB and you'll most likely lose the end game. Whereas healers like WHM suck so hard at their job and nerf on damage you can really feel.

Just by watching streamers play CC pvp you can feel that stress of watching 5 minute gameplay of people trying to take down GNB that is unkillable. Not fun. Doesn't matter that we yap when devs won't listen.

Also devs need to take care of cheater problem in pvp lmao.

You call the old system better but complain about healing? Did you even play the game before 6.1?
Before the PvP rework the average match was an incredibly drawn-out zergfest because healers were literally just able to spam heal.

And people getting 30 seconds of CC protection from a 1 second stun was just nonsensical.

I suspect they meant the 6.1 system seeing their job list after that got "dumbed down". But I could be wrong.

Which would still make no sense, because neither crowd control nor healing have significantly changed since then. There was no diminishing returns to track in 6.1 either.
