I think she meant in real life, it's an alloy not an ore.

i hope they chane the class requirement on vena robe/darksteel armor/gryphon armor if we cant play it on pld whm/blm/war then whey even add them in the first place

What has been said. Electrum is actually a gold-and-silver alloy, it does not exists in ore form. That is probalby what punainen is metioning. Same with rosegold being an alloy as well

This being said, many gold, silver and copper mines produce the other metals as byproducts since they form in simmilar geological conditions, so you CAN technically get gold and silver in the same fist-sized chunk of rock and plausibly call it electrum ore if you wanted. It is just exceedingly rare to the point it is not practical to say you are mining for electrum ore. You are mining a gold/silver deposit.
