I am just kinda tired of this topic.
Every time it is the same song and dance, maint gets announced, some don't care because it doesn't impact them which is valid, some are annoyed because it hits the exact timeframe they have the time to play which is valid, and it is argued back and forth for a few days leading nowhere.
Yes, I would prefer fewest maintenance possible, I would also prefer to have problem addressed as soon as they are noticed, no I don't think this is lack of QA, a thousand QA testers under a deadline can only stress test a fraction of what tens of thousands of players can and things will always come up, it is just the nature of any form of software development.

Honestly. If maintenance has to happen, it has to happen. I would rather see them patching stuff and maintaining servers than letting their game/services rot for 6+ months while they queue up one or two major patches a year (like some other games...)
I know it sucks when maintenances occur during our only play window, but would you rather the alternative (a game riddled with bugs and broken functions?).
I know I dont want that, so I'll deal with the mild inconveniences as they come.

Every single one is in OCE primetime.
-
I would rather there were weekly one hour maintenance, rather than 4-6 hour maints. It would mean that OCE gets some playtime in every day.
-
I think it's just you. The maintenances are extremely rare. It's not as if they are every day, and your listed dates go back... 4 months. That's a massive stretch.

This game is over 13 years old so i imagine the codes are running out of control, it's understandable that they have to do maintenance more often and regularly to fix bugs and clear caches or even change some outdated or corrupted equipments in the data centers and their HQ. Be happy and grateful they work for their money and not completely neglect the errors and bugs lol.

QA was fired to make room in the budget for Forspoken, Babylon's Fall, Symbiogenesis, Killer Inn and Foamstars.

Hard for me to say, especially on EU.
I don't think it's inherently a bad thing... Can't really say where or what the issue is either, as it's not just as simple as "QA not doing their job", or "QA no exist".
I don't really think it's that catastrophic... I'd rather them fix problems than not fix them, especially if they can do so.

It really isn't that big of a deal. As someone else just pointed out, over the same period of time WoW has had a similar number of maintenances. And unlike WoW we don't have game breaking bugs where people get completely phased out of the raid to where they can't do damage, take damage, or interact anyway with their group until they've restarted and deleted their WTF folders which is a problem that happened with WoW's first season launch. Could you imagine the outrage if that happened here?
Honestly, SE has figured out a really good time slot. It's unfortunate that OCE gets the short end of the stick, but they are by far the smallest region and there is no time that is perfect for everyone. And since all servers have to come down for maintenance, because even WoW does that, then it happens. Better than being WoW and it being nearly 9:00 PM EST before servers come back up eating into a much larger target audience.
