The one time I wouldn't have been agast upon seeing a swathe of purple bricks... looks like a Super Monkey Ball character with hypertrichosis in those AI takes tbh.
What is surprising is that I don't recognize that thing, even with some not so inconsiderable eastern lineage. Guess Moomins were just cuter and made more of an impression on me (also popular in Japan at one stage, yet you don't see those running about in-game, though they wouldn't be out of place in Il Mheg).
/shrug @ the proposal I guess. If it somehow happens it happens. Would be as neutral to it as GARO stuff. A Noddy-esque lalafell as a cheeky nod on the other hand... (yeah that's even less likely to happen, but since we're pitching random retro childhood icons I thought I'd give it a go).
