I'm concerned about Dynamis's affect on the new player experience in NA.

I don't know what to tell you then, I just know that when trying to get through Stormblood and Shadowbringers back when I was still on Dynamis that it didn't seem to matter if I queued there or traveled elsewhere, I was stuck waiting long enough to get an MSQ trial to pop that I would eventually pack it in and go do something else/try again the next day until eventually the game "allowed" me to progress. Maybe its better for Endwalker and Dawntrail ones, but I won't know until I unlock them, and even then I'm going to default to trying unsync solo first because that's the kind of habit that I picked up from playing on Dynamis for so long. I just assume I have to solo everything/can't rely on others being around.

Personally, and I can only speak for myself, but I actually had an inverse experience, moving to Dynamis greatly improved my experience with the game.

I started in Primal, Hyperion to be precise, and for the first several months, I found it to be a very lonely experience, sure there were people, but it felt like there was no means to properly interact with them, I tried several FCs and they were bizarrely quiet, not even in a "Oh they talk in the private Discord", I was in the Discord and it was still dead, a lot of people were online and never talked or anything, I eventually started treat FCs as just a means to have a Heat of Battle XP buff, and what got me to move to Dynamis wasn't any other reason than I'd get a Road to 80 buff to all my Jobs, and so I did, clicked the very first random person I saw with a FC so I could apply and get that sweet 10% buff on top of my newfound 100% buff, turned out it was a fairly active FC, it still is active to this day, and it led to my stay in Dynamis being significantly more lively than Primal ever was, by now, I genuinely wouldn't want to leave Dynamis even if I was offered a free transfer to anywhere I want, it's my home, flaws and all, and above all, it was the place that made this game feel like a home.

I also feel a lot of the more glaring issues are things I can easily side step, and I don't mean by DC traveling, a Trial is taking forever to pop? why would I wait for it to pop? I just make a party finder for that trial and it will fill faster than I could travel to another DC, this is viable even for Free Trial players, so long as they can get someone to make the party for them through NN or some such.

Again, not saying remotely this is the average experience with Dynamis, rather it was what mine was.

Dynamis and Primal really should be merged at this point.

Though honestly the entire DC system is pretty fucking ancient and they should just all be connected.

People from Dynamis, Specifically Mentors do not want to deal with influx of new players and will tell them to just transfer over to more populated servers like Aether / Primal.

Yes I know there are some Dynamis mentors who are willing to lend a hand but truly 8.9/10 of them are burnt out Raiders (either from Ultimate / Savage) who want do nothing but badges

Aye, I don't doubt that others may have had a different and likely better experience after starting on Dynamis/transferring there later, but for me it was just 3 years of isolation on Maduin and spending most of my time traveling to Aether anyway, and then Primal when Aether became too congested for traveling. I admittedly find it odd that Primal somehow became "too full" only a month after I moved to it, but then maybe Primal was getting the lion's share of new players during that time and I wasn't the only one who moved out when I did.

I don't find Primal any more social that Dynamis, and once again find myself in a dead quiet FC, but the queues are decent when doing roulettes/PVP so I've no reason to leave Excalibur for now even with Aether and Crystal having space for transfers.

Not sure why alot of ppl outside of Dynamis think it's a good idea to nuke them or merge servers to a bigger DC when SE sundered aether and others globally because in the past the giant DCs had too many extra worlds to be working efficiently and causing problems.

Also, although it's small, it still has dedicated fans, FCs, housing, and why some people have transferred there on their own for the road to 80 buffs or wanted bigger houses too.

I am a new player. Just wanted to pop in and say so far I have a great time on Seraph/dynamis. I don't feel like my server is dead at all at least not yet. I get into Dungeons and trails just fine so far.

Dynamis and primal should get merged but that would only make it worse for Aether ironically.

I agree with this, and to also add on another topic at hand...Dynamis is very exclusive with who they want in their in roulettes (when it actually pops), like sometimes I've been kicked for not being sprout. Throughout the numerous kicks, I've chalked it up to an air of uniformic 'My way or the High way' identity and it doesn't help anyone at all with w/e you want to do for Dynamis unless you genuinely push through that. But people who transferred from very high-strung DCs like Aether/Primal want to instill this uniformity on to new players within Dynamis and kick players who are already establish who they are within the game. Doesn't help that even my time on Maduin or other Dynamis servers when I try to be social with shout chat or something, no wants to respond and still want be inclusive within their own echo chambers or even better use 'Say' chat as if it's their own fc chat box.

I don't want to keep making a new party finder to do Roulettes of all things but also really don't want to keep banging my head on a table (figuratively) to try and be social with elitist mentals who got ostracized from their previous servers.

Probably because the playerbase has succesfully fallen to mid stormblood levels and we still have an entire year of dawntrail left.
