Was already mentioned, beastmaster would be late in expansion, as for bluemage almost certain they also mentioned there is no plans for it this expansion as an, "up to devs/if have enough time" kind of deal.

The lack of info to this day is already evidence enough that it was announced without any actual plan like island sanctuary, so expect beastmaster to be a reskinned chocobo companion that maxes out at lvl50 with the "actual" version being a feature of 8.4 -

Blue mage is already dead content, not so much fun. People will gather new spells and it will be dead again. Beastmaster as someone said, will be probably something disappointing. im pretty sure yoshida said something about a blue mage upgrade a while ago. it was propably an interview. since beastmaster is in 7.5 (i assume 7.55) i assumed we would get the blue mage update in 7.45.
they wouldnt push that also into the same patch with beastmaster and another creszentis map, would they? -
