Can we please have the new Elezen face and hairstyle that is for Chinese players?

Any new aesthetic from the Chinese version will end up being a cash shop item as SE does not own the rights those items. The only way to bring them to the main game is to make them paid so the creators in China will have a financial incentive to release them. Even though SE owns the game, there are clauses that anything that the Chinese team creates is theirs and SE will have to pay them to bring them over.

Lightspeed did a lot of things from scratch using the ARR-EW models as references, and there was a section on the JP and CN versions of the announcement site that talked about that (it was absent on the English site for some reason). Most of the visual updates that CS3 did for the "real" game look like they just used an upscaling or sharpening tool.

It looks like face 3 with all the sharp options like eyes 3, at an angle instead of looking directly at you. And a different hair.

They're getting new FACES!? That's a bit too much when we can't even get a good stable connection.

Would this include the dyeable board mount that war released only in the mobile version? I wanted that mount so badly ever since I saw it...

Definitely chinese visuals - Making the faces look very porcelain/flawless-like and with common hairstyles seen in chinese fantasy games/mmo's.

No seriously, I thought those faces are just the ones we have when I saw them, but yassified due to their graphics engine? They don't look too different to me besides cleaner, shinier textures. The male elezen is just not looking straight at the camera, which makes his features look different?
I like their art direction more than what DT went with (matte, rubber-like skin is not a great look, but oh well) but the hairstyles are nothing to write home about for me, just not my style.

Most likely they won't be able to use any of the assets developed by them unless they negotiate it, which probably won't happen. I could be wrong though, none of us really know what the contract with the mobile version says, so this is all just assumption.
